Hi Team!

The month of March is off to a great start as we celebrate yet another significant milestone in our journey to get healthcare right – right care at the right time in the right location at the right price! I’m excited to share that this week, we officially launched our new TriHealth Clinic at Walgreens partnership – which is now enabling us to serve patients in seven Walgreens stores conveniently located throughout Greater Cincinnati – click here to view clinic locations!

These new on-site retail or “walk-in” clinics have further expanded our comprehensive network to nearly 150 care locations across the greater Cincinnati community. The clinics offer consumers easy access to affordable, high-quality healthcare for uncomplicated illnesses and injuries and for chronic care follow-ups, with no appointment necessary! The TriHealth Clinic at Walgreens locations are fully integrated into TriHealth’s comprehensive network of primary care practices and Priority Care centers. Each TriHealth Clinic at Walgreens operates as an extension of our primary care offices and serves as a robust, new access point for our existing community-based primary care and specialty services, as well as our nationally recognized acute care hospitals. The clinics are staffed by TriHealth’s advanced practice clinicians and operate seven days a week, including evenings and weekends, providing a convenient after-hours option for our primary care offices.

As importantly, these retail clinics reach a segment of the population that oftentimes does not have an existing relationship with a primary care provider – which means they will now get the affordable care they need, when and where they need it most – in the moment and close to home. This gives us the opportunity to build trusted relationships that will ultimately result in better care and better health for, in some cases, a previously underserved population in our community.

Together with TriHealthNow – our online telehealth tool – our TriHealth Clinic at Walgreens partnership demonstrates that we are leaving no stone unturned as we lead the way in responding to the changing needs and preferences of healthcare consumers. And we are doing so to get healthcare right by bringing outstanding and affordable care and improved health to everyone, everywhere…always!

And speaking of improved health, to further accelerate our population health work, I’m excited to announce that Terri Hanlon Bremer, MSN, RN, Vice President of Employer Solutions and Corporate Health, will take on the senior leadership role for Population Health. Weekly Huddle Message: SBAR
Using SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) creates an understanding called situational awareness. The SBAR format provides context prior to making a decision. If you need more information about a situation, try using the “codeword” safety phrase, “May I have that in an SBAR?” Review this one-pager or see more information on Bridge.
