TriHealth Bridge

December 07, 2021

Starting December 14, 2021, TriHealth will standardize its use of disinfectant wipes to a single vendor product, PDI Disinfectant Wipes.

Aligning with guidance from The Joint Commission and TriHealth Infection Prevention team, this vendor decision was made because the PDI surface disinfecting wipes are readily available, are the most equipment-compatible wipes on the market, and have proven to be highly effective in preventing virus and bacteria spread. The vendor, PDI, has completed on-site assessments of TriHealth facilities and connected personally with many of our leaders and team members who may be impacted by this change. Additionally, the TriHealth Supply Chain team has hosted a series of meetings with key stakeholders to discuss and prepare for the upcoming product conversion.
