Whitney Gallaher RN and Drs. Alexander Bruns and Michael Policastro at Good Samaritan have received a Spirit of Compassion donation from a patient who appreciated her husband's care.

Along with the donation was a note that said:

I just wanted to express my gratitude for taking such great care of my husband. Whitney was absolutely kind and very thorough. Dr. Bruns and Dr. Policastro went above and beyond to make sure he was cared for and comfortable. Dr. Bruns always makes sure we are taken care of and is always professional even when we are not.

The Spirit of Compassion program allows a patient or their family to make a donation in honor of a physician, nurse or staff member who made a difference during their stay, and also share a brief note of thanks.
