To protect our patients from a community respiratory outbreak, Bethesda Butler, Bethesda North, Good Samaritan and TriHealth Evendale hospitals have implemented visitor restrictions.
- Visitors of patients must not have symptoms of illness, including coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever, nausea or vomiting.
- Only parents and guardians will be permitted to visit in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Special Care Nursery.
- For Special Care OB, Labor and Delivery and the Mother Baby departments, visitors younger than 14 years of age are limited to siblings only. Visitors must not have had symptoms of illness (including coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever nausea or vomiting) within the previous seven-day incubation period.
- Outside of Obstetrical and Nursery service areas, children 14 years of age or older who are healthy may visit in patient rooms.
