Several SeniorLink members staged a bell choir performance for staff Friday, June 21, at SeniorLink in Norwood.
The performance was the culmination of two months of practice with the handbells, called tone chimes, under the direction of Bethany Deetz, a board-certified musical therapist.
Music therapy provides numerous physical and cognitive benefits for members of SeniorLink. The program, part of TriHealth Senior Services, helps people 55 and older with chronic care needs to stay healthy and independent as long as possible.
