Jermaine Bryant and Chris Williams accept donations on behalf of the Drop Inn Center.
Putting our Values of Stewardship and response to Community Needs into action, TriHealth recently donated medical supplies and office furniture to two local non-profits, the Drop Inn Center and the Friars Club.
"These items came from Good Samaritan Hospital and the former Group Health Clifton office building," said TriHealth Sustainability Consultant Katie Kirschner. "Rather than throw them away, we were able to find new uses for these items that will benefit our community."
The Drop Inn Center and 3CDC are building a new Women's Drop Inn Center on Reading Road just south of the McMillian overpass and a men's shelter in Queensgate at the old Butternut Bread Company. The Drop Inn Center received the following supplies for five exam rooms:
- Exam tables
- Hand soap dispensers
- Hand sanitizer dispensers
- Wall brackets for computers
- Wall mount for sharps containers
- Physician stools
- Glove boxes
- Two refrigerators
The Friars Club recently opened their new facility in St. Bernard and received theses donations:
- Conference room furniture
- Waiting room chairs
- Bookshelves
- Table
