TriHealth Bridge

September 27, 2013

United-Way-Give-Button-228xLast year, TriHealth team members pledged more than $625,000 to the United Way. This year, we know we can do more.

Our goal is to deliver $660,000 to further United Ways’ “Bold Goals.” We know it's achievable.

Donations can be made by cash, check, payroll deduction, and donations of GTB. For payroll and GTB donations, follow online instructions. For cash or check donations, contact your site coordinator.

To reach our goal of helping to address critical issues in our community, we ask:

  • If you have not given to United Way, please donate at least $2 each pay period, joining our “52 Club.”
  • If you have given in the past, please consider increasing your donation by 3 percent or more this year.

New donors and those who increase their donations are eligible for prizes, including airline tickets, Cincinnati Bengals tickets, flat-screen TVs, gift cards and more.

How does your contribution to United Way help those in need in our community?

  • $1 per week provides healthy, nutritious meals for three hungry people for one week.
  • $3 per week helps eight families learn behaviors that will help maintain a young child’s healthy body weight.
  • $8 per week helps three children connect with teachers and the community, increasing their chances of getting a great report card and achieving promotion to the next grade level.
  • $15 per week provides seven children access to community activities such as clubs, camps, and after-school programs.
  • $22 per week transitions one person from welfare to work through job training and skill development.

We are excited about what TriHealth can do to show we live our mission of improving the health status of the people we serve. As the 17th largest contributor to United Way in our region last year, we are proud of what we have accomplished and of our plan to do even more for Greater Cincinnati.
