TriHealth Bridge

August 22, 2014

This is the last week to purchase or sell rubber ducks for the annual Freestore Foodbank Rubber Duck Regatta, scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 31, the day of the Cincinnati Bell/WEBN Fireworks. About 3 p.m. that day, nearly 200,000 rubber ducks will be dropped from the Purple People Bridge into the Ohio River for a race. The winning supporter will get a 2014 Honda Accord Sport.

You could be there for all of the action! For every $50 worth of rubber ducks ($5 each) you purchase or sell on Tuesday, Aug. 26, you'll get an entry in a random drawing to win a ride for you and a guest on the boat that corrals the ducks in the river after they've been dropped from the bridge.

To be entered, you must turn in proof of online sales (purchased using our TriHealth Rubber Duck Regatta electronic form only) or paper forms by 5 p.m. Aug. 26 to Pamela Williams in Marketing Communications, 619 Oak St., Suite 104. One lucky winner will be selected and notified Wednesday, Aug. 27.

Don't forget: Rubber Duck Regatta T-shirts or keepsake rubber ducks are still free for every $25 worth of ducks purchased. Get more information on how to purchase ducks and claim your free items, available through Friday, Aug. 29.
