A message from John Prout, TriHealth President and CEO:

Today is a great day for TriHealth as we formally completed our agreement to affiliate with McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital this morning. We are excited about what this means for not only ourselves, but more importantly, for the residents of Southeastern Indiana and Southwestern Ohio.

TriHealth is excited to be part of this agreement. Our proud history will show we're not interested in affiliations just for the sake of affiliating. When we looked closely at the strengths of what the TriHealth system and McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital had to offer together, this agreement just made great sense.

TriHealth has been quite busy over the past few years increasing our Butler County footprint. We are underway on work that will provide our Bethesda Butler Hospital with a 51,000-square-foot expansion that will increase the number of inpatient beds from 10 to 48.

In addition, this past fall, we opened a 50,000-square-foot location of Group Health West Chester, a multi-specialty physician group on Princeton Glendale Road. As you can see, our organization is growing significantly in Butler County. You can see why I am so excited when I think about providing care for our Butler patients.

We will now have a significant presence in not only West Chester, Oxford, Hamilton and throughout Butler County, but also be providing care for many people in Southeastern Indiana.

Today is indeed a great day for TriHealth. Thank you for all of your work on behalf of our organization.
