May 12, 2014

GE-Groundbreaking-03GE Aviation and TriHealth leaders gathered Friday, May 2, to mark the beginning of site preparation for the GE Family Wellness Center on the GE Aviation campus in Evendale.

The new wellness center will provide GE team members, retirees and adult dependents full-service primary care, wellness program, and pharmacy services in one place. The innovative project expands the longstanding collaboration between TriHealth Corporate Health and GE Aviation.

The project is a model of how "health care and business can and should collaborate to improve health, wellness, convenience and quality for a company's greatest assets - its team members," John Prout, TriHealth president and CEO, said at the groundbreaking ceremony, held Friday, May 2.

The center is expected to open in early 2015.
