TriHealth has joined the American Hospital Association's Institute for Diversity Health Management, which aims to increase minorities in health services administration and improve opportunities for professionals in the health care field.
As the only organization devoted to managing diversity in health care, the institute helps health care providers plan for a more diverse future and offers tools for today's challenges. Its initiatives aim to generate long-term results through educational programs, summer internships and professional development and leadership conferences.
All TriHealth team members are eligible and encouraged to participate in these programs.
As part of our system-wide membership, the institute presents monthly Diversity Dialogues, audio presentations, accompanied by a slideshow, delivered by nationally renowned speakers on various health care topics.
These monthly programs will be featured on the Diversity and Inclusion homepage on LinkNet and available for three months from the presentation date. Webinars are approved for as many as four hours of external TLA credit for TriHealth management.
