TriHealth and Good Samaritan Diversity Advisory Council helped celebrate the Clifton neighborhood at this year's CliftonFest.
More than 20,000 visitors attended the event on Ludlow Avenue where a variety of musicians, artists, vendors and others provided entertainment.
TriHealth, a sponsor of the event, offered two cutouts of a doctor and a nurse for photos at a booth. More than 50 DAC members, team members and family members volunteered time throughout the weekend Sept. 26 to 28.
Dozens of others raced or walked in the CliftonFest 5K run/walk, also sponsored by TriHealth. Jamie Easterling, executive director of hospital operations for Good Samaritan, ran in the event and presented awards to the top finishers.
One-time Flying Pig Marathon winner and Clifton resident, T.J. Lentz won the 5K with a time of 17 minutes and 46 seconds. The top female finisher, Taryn Surtees, placed third with a time of 19 minutes and 51 seconds.
