Laura Trice MD has been chosen as the new president of the TriHealth Clinically Integrated Physician Hospital Organization (CIPHO). Her first official day will be Dec. 30.
Dr. Trice will serve as the administrative leader for the TriHealth CIPHO and oversee all of the organization, which serves to align our system's independent community providers to deliver better care at a lower cost for our patients.
Dr. Trice comes to TriHealth from CareMore Essentials/Anthem/WellPoint in Cincinnati, Ohio. During her time there as Manager of Clinical Care, she led a support team serving 15,000 Medicare Advantage members in Hamilton and Clermont County.
Dr. Trice also was a Primary Care Physician focusing on Geriatric Medicine for TriHealth Senior’s Health for the past 15 years and held various medical director roles throughout the Cincinnati region.
Dr. Trice has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Xavier University. After practicing nursing for 20 years, she pursued a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati: College of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at The Christ Hospital and a Geriatric Fellowship at University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Trice and her husband Dr. Larry Giesmann, a retired Northern Kentucky University Biology Professor, live in Northern Kentucky.
