"Trauma treatment is really a state of mind," said Juan Peschiera MD, TriHealth Trauma Services medical director. "We're always thinking, 'What else should we look for?'" when a trauma patient presents.
Bethesda North is verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level III Trauma Center, an important part of the Tristate's regional trauma system. That means patients treated at the Bethesda North Emergency Department can count on a timely and coordinated response to any traumatic injury. This includes quicker response from physician specialists and staff who are trained to assess and treat traumatic injuries.
