Please join me in welcoming Jeffrey (Jeff) Baltas, our New Director of TriHealth Benefit Solutions (TBS), TriHealth’s owned Third Party Administrator (TPA).  Jeff has served as the Chief Executive Officer and an owner of Employee Benefits Administrators, a Kentucky TPA and served as the President of BaltasVision, LLC, Kentucky's only standalone vision insurance company. As a veteran of the health care industry, he has worked with clients such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Virginia in HMO development, Kentucky Medical Insurance Corporation in assessing strategic relationships, and created partnerships with Bluegrass Family Health to provide administration to their self-funded clients. He is considered an expert in both fully and partially self-funded health plans, building robust  medical networks, and negotiating best in class agreements  with stop-loss reinsurers and pharmacy benefit companies. An advocate of re-establishing “consumerism” in the health care model, Jeff has worked for multiple years to lower costs, improve outcomes, educate participants as to their role, while offering leading-edge health care delivery models that can be enacted today.

Jeff attended the University of Kentucky, where he studied journalism. Jeff is the proud father of two daughters; both artists, swimmers and lacrosse players, but each so very unique in their own right.

Jeff will begin his role with TBS Monday February 18^th. He will work to ensure that he has an opportunity to meet with you all,  while getting acclimated to Cincinnati and the TriHealth Way of Leading and Serving. We’re excited to have Jeff on our team to help us take TBS from good to great while further accelerating our Direct to Employer offerings and market positioning.
