Hi Leaders –
I’m pleased to welcome Candice Kramer, our new system Corporate Compliance Officer. This new role was developed to meet the changing needs of the TriHealth system as we grow and expand services throughout the greater Cincinnati region.
Candice brings to TriHealth nearly a decade of experience in a variety of compliance specialties including – developing and implementing Code of Conduct policies and procedures; overseeing appropriate evaluation, investigation and resolution of allegations; conducting risk assessments; advising and collaborating with leadership as a strategic partner; working with legal counsel and managing investigations under attorney-client privilege; ensuring proper reporting to enforcement agencies; developing and sustaining an effective conflict of interest disclosure and management process; and effectively partnering with internal and external communications to ensure corporate compliance practices are enforced. In addition to her technical skills, I have every confidence in her leadership talents and believe she will quickly acclimate to the TriHealth Way and serving our team members, physicians, patients and community.
Candice is joining the compliance team and will report to the Compliance and Audit Committee of the TriHealth Board of Trustees. She will lead TriHealth’s Compliance Department and implementation of TriHealth’s compliance program, work with all TriHealth team members to maintain effective internal controls that promote adherence to legal and ethical standards, as well as promote the prevention, detection, and resolution of illegal or unethical conduct.
Her first day was August 20 and her office will be located on the 11th floor at Baldwin. Over the next several months, Candice will be meeting with our leaders and getting to know the system, so look for an invite from her soon and please join me in warmly welcoming Candice to TriHealth!
