The dedication of a newly renovated Minimally Invasive Surgery Training Center at Good Samaritan took place Monday, Feb. 18.  As one of few hospitals in the world with unique minimally invasive surgical capabilities, Good Samaritan attracts surgeons from around the globe who travel to Cincinnati to learn from the hospital's experts.

"In this Center, our surgeons and residents will get the opportunities to practice techniques that will improve the way we care for our patients," said Dr. J. Michael Smith, Director, Good Samaritan Robotics Program. "We'll learn how to replace full, open surgery with procedures that use just a few tiny incisions. The result for our patients is less pain, less blood loss and faster recovery." The renovation was made possible by philanthropic support to the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation.
