Tiffany Castle, of Labor and Delivery at Good Samaritan, has received a Spirit of Compassion donation from a patient who appreciated the care she received.

The patient wrote in a note of thanks, "This is my first child, and I was extremely nervous about the delivery. The staff in Labor and Delivery made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions. Tiffany coached me through my pushing, which made delivery very easy for me. Thank you all for all you did to help me deliver a healthy baby girl!"

The Spirit of Compassion program allows a patient or his or her family to make a donation in honor of a Good Samaritan physician, nurse or staff member who made a difference during their stay, and also share a brief note of thanks.
