Good Samaritan Foundation has received several grants in the past few months for various programs aimed at community needs. The foundation received:
- Two grants from SC Ministry Foundation - one to help improve the oral health of patients at the Good Samaritan Free Health Center, and the other for the Student Summer Employment Program, which will allow the foundation to hire Seton High School volunteers; and
- $200,000, spread between two years, from Catholic Health Initiatives Mission and Ministry Fund, for the HOPE Program, which assists opiate-addicted pregnant women.
SC Ministry Foundation is associated with the Sisters of Charity, founded by Elizabeth Ann Seton.
