Hello leaders!
There are a couple of TriHealth Way of Leading items to update you on related to our Leader Evaluation Manager (LEM) area of focus.
Goal Alignment:
Based on a Studer Group review of our LEM work, we are off to a great start! When comparing TriHealth to all 137 Studer partners in July, TriHealth currently ranks 13th overall; and we are just getting started! Thank you so much for all of the work and active engagement you have demonstrated in completing your LEM processes and deliverables thus far!
On Tuesday, August 16, 2016, a review of the TriHealth LEM goal distribution across all leaders was reviewed with Mark Clement and our executive leadership team (ELT). Overall, the distribution of our LEM goals is well spread across Finance, Service, Quality and People/Culture. Again, great work! We do have one item that needs continued focus. Given our growth imperative, there remains an opportunity for greater participation in goals related to our Growth pillar. Discussions are underway to broaden the participation of goals that will impact our abilities related to Growth. Work in this area is expected to take up to 6 weeks.
As work in the Growth area continues, the decision was made to go forward with our plan to lock our current LEM goals down this week, so you will notice that your goals are now locked. Your leader has the ability to unlock your goals to facilitate your entry of Growth goals aligning to your area of accountability (leaders can download the Unlock Cheat Sheet here.) Our other work will not stop; please continue to work toward completing your 90-day plans by the deadline of August 30, 2016 and plan to begin our newly expanded Monthly Meeting Model in September.
Validation Matrix:
During the recent Business Unit Leader (BUL) meetings, several discussions arose related to the verbiage and documentation within the validation matrix. We heard you! When you go into the validation matrix you will notice that several updates have been made reflecting your input.
With sincere appreciation,
Your LEM Accountability Team
