TriHealth is soliciting your stories for possible submission to Sacred Stories, published by Catholic Health Initiatives(CHI). Stories are frequently used for reflections at meetings and in prayer services throughout the CHI system. Previous editions of Sacred Stories contained stories from Bethesda and Good Samaritan. All TriHealth team members, physicians and volunteers are encouraged to submit a story following the guidelines below. Stories should be limited to no more than 450 words. Submit your story, by Tuesday, Aug. 20, to Jeff Wiesemann, Marketing Communications, Jeffery_Wiesemann@TriHealth.com.
Here is a sample from last year's edition.
Guidelines
The purpose is to promote the sharing of stories about ordinary situations, encounters or experiences at work that do one or more of the following:
- Provide a glimpse into the spirituality of the people who work here
- Witness to the internal faith which individuals bring to the workplace
- Convey how one finds meaning in work or experiences the actions of the Spirit in work life
- Tell how one responds generously to opportunities for service or how one is enriched in work relationships in health care
However, sacred stories are not the recounting of an event, recognition for exceptional team member performance, stories from one's personal life, or stories of extraordinary occurrences. When submitting your story, please include your name, job position/title, facility and e-mail address.
