TriHealth Bridge

The TriHealth SeniorLink bell choir placed second in Seniors Guide Online's 'Seniors Got Talent' competition. All the video entries were put online for people to watch and then vote for their favorite. For placing second, TriHealth SeniorLink received a $500 check. The Recreation Therapy department plans to purchase more musical equipment with the money.

The group was formed in April of 2013 and uses bells called tone chimes because they are easier to hold. They practiced once a week, and by the end of June they were performance ready and put on a short concert for the SeniorLink staff. The performance was recorded, and in July it was submitted to Seniors Guide Online.

The SeniorLink program, which is part of TriHealth Senior Services, helps people 55 and older with chronic care needs to stay healthy and independent as long as possible. It provides participants with medical and social services delivered in their homes and SeniorLink day health centers.
