TriHealth Bridge

July 11, 2014

Frank NationRev. Frank Nation has been named TriHealth's Vice President of Mission and Culture, effective Aug. 1.

He is currently TriHealth's manager of Pastoral Care and Clinical Pastoral Education. Frank will provide leadership to assure TriHealth's mission and values are part of core business processes. He will help shape a culture of engaged staff and physicians who are committed to delivering a patient experience grounded in TriHealth values: Respect for All People, Stewardship of our Resources, Service Excellence, Response to Community Needs, Respect for Our Spiritual Heritage, and Valuing Differences.

Frank is already focused on fostering a culture that reflects the heritage and faith traditions on which TriHealth is founded. I'm happy the entire organization will benefit from his expanded role in assuring that in all ways, TriHealth reflects its mission and values both internally and throughout the community.

Before coming to TriHealth in 2009 as manager of the Good Samaritan Pastoral Care Department, Frank was a fellow and chaplain for Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. He has also been a chaplain at Mercy Hospital Fairfield and Christ Hospital. He earned a bachelor's degree in Bible and Theology from Lee University (TN), and Master's of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Church of God Theological Seminary (TN). Frank is a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains and certified educator with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education Inc.
