TriHealth Bridge

December 08, 2014

To protect our patients, visitor restrictions have been implemented at Bethesda Butler, Bethesda North, Good Samaritan and Evendale hospitals. This is in support of the Greater Cincinnati Health Council's request that all Tristate hospitals observe visitation restrictions until flu season ends. Posters and fliers reflecting visitation limitations have been placed around each hospital.

Visitor restrictions at the hospitals include:

  • No visitation by anyone who is ill with any respiratory symptoms, including coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever, etc.
  • Children must stay in the hospital lobbies and may not go to the floors in the waiting rooms.
  • No visitation by anyone younger than age 14.*

*Exceptions

  • Siblings who have been adequately immunized against the flu may visit the maternity units. They must bring documentation of immunization that occurred at least two weeks prior to the visit.
  • Siblings who wish to visit the NICU at Good Samaritan or the Special Care Nursery at Bethesda North must follow the guidelines on the chart below.
