TriHealth Bridge

January 06, 2014

As the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. lived his life with respect for all people, regardless of race, creed and color, we are reminded of our unity as a system, committed to our values of "respect for all people," "valuing differences" and "respect for our spiritual heritage."

To celebrate Dr. King and his dream for a better world, TriHealth has planned prayer services this month at several locations:

  • Bethesda North, noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, cafeteria and Creekside room B
  • Bethesda Oak, noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, MERC building
  • Good Samaritan, noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, Fourth Floor Conference Center rooms A, B and C

In addition, TriHealth again has sponsored the Martin Luther King Jr. Day march and program on Monday, Jan. 20, along with the annual King Legacy Awards Breakfast in downtown Cincinnati.

All team members are invited to attend the march on Jan. 20 and events that follow:

  • 10:30 a.m., march begins at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and proceeds to Fountain Square
  • 11 a.m., program begins at Fountain Square, then march continues to Music Hall
  • Noon, "I Have a Dream" program, open to all ages, begins at Music Hall

Holiday Schedule

TriHealth honors Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 20 as a paid holiday for staff. In this respect, many non-patient areas or business functions will close for the day. TriHealth physician group practices are on a different holiday schedule and will not close.
