Life is full of things to be grateful for - small acts of kindness and generosity, words of hope and encouragement, gifts of love and caring. Look around you and see how many you can count in just a few moments.

Perhaps on your way to work you passed a tree full of lovely spring blossoms. Or one of your coworkers brought you a cup of coffee. Or your spouse gave you a long embrace before leaving the house. It could be that you were kissed by a child, snuggled by a kitten, comforted by a touch.

A thankful heart takes time to notice those small, precious gifts.

Are you thankful for the little things that come your way? Why don't you let God know?

Thanksgiving is good, but thanks-living is better.
