Dear Lord,

We thank you for yet another day which you have given us.

Help each of us to make the most of it, remembering that You are in control of every situation.

We pray, Lord, that you would touch those who are ill with your healing hand, comforting and strengthening them through their situation.

We pray Lord that you would give encouragement and hope to families and friends who are anxious with concern for their loved ones.

Father, we ask you to guide the hands and minds of all of us who care for the sick that we might be especially reminded today

Lord to be kind toward one another, gracious in our attitude, gentle in our speech, and considerate in our actions.

In Christ’s name.
