The TriHealth Cancer Institute and the American Cancer Society are looking for volunteers to join a cancer prevention study. Participants in the study, Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3), must live in the U.S. or Puerto Rico, be 30- to 65-years-old, free of a cancer diagnosis (excluding basal or squamous cell skin cancer) and willing to commit long-term to completing follow-up surveys for the next 20-30 years.
To participate:
- Log onto CincinnatiCPS3.org and schedule an enrollment appointment.
- Complete the emailed Baseline Survey prior to your appointment.
- Attend your appointment where you will read and sign an informed consent form, complete a questionnaire and provide a waist circumference measurement and blood sample.
Representatives will be available on-site to register participants at the following locations:
- Good Samaritan, June 18, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Fourth Floor Conference Center Room A
- Bethesda North, June 19, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Second Floor Golder Room
