Nominations for the 2015 Florence Nightingale Awards for Nursing are now being accepted until Feb. 13, 2015. The nomination form can be found here.

Patients, family and friends of patients, colleagues, physicians and other health care workers can nominate a nurse. Nurses previously nominated may be re-nominated this year.

Final selection of award recipients will be made by a committee of the Board of Advisors. Selection is not based on the number of nominations received; however, all nominations for each nurse are considered.

Note: One nomination form will not be accepted for an entire staff. A detailed nomination form is required for each nominee. 

Nominees must:

• reside in the Greater Cincinnati area.
• be employed in the Greater Cincinnati area.
• be licensed as a registered nurse.
• demonstrate excellence in direct patient care.
