Nominate an individual or group who, through care or service, has improved the quality of life for cancer survivors and deserves to be called an angel.

Mary Jo's Angels is an annual Bethesda Foundation event, inspired by philanthropist Mary Jo Cropper, who succumbed to breast cancer in 2011 and whose experience with cancer motivated her to make a leadership gift that resulted in the construction of an expanded breast center, the Mary Jo Cropper Family Center for Breast Care.

Mary Jo's Angels honors those individuals in the Cincinnati community who have helped better the lives of cancer survivors, while exhibiting the grace and compassion of Mary Jo Cropper.

To nominate an angel, visit bethesdafoundation.com/events/mary_jo_angels. Nominations are due by Friday, Sept. 6.

The Bethesda Foundation will recognize award recipients at the third annual recognition luncheon Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Manor House in Mason.
