When it comes to patient care, Connie Proctor knows an extra minute can go a mile.
Connie, an access liaison at Good Samaritan Outpatient Center Glenway, recently spent many extra minutes with a woman and her husband who had found a lump in his breast and needed a mammogram.
Because of some coding issues in the referral, Connie had to make several calls back and forth to another TriHealth location, but eventually, she was able to schedule an appointment for the patient for the next day.
"We could never have made this appointment without her assistance," the patient's wife wrote in a letter. "She showed great concern for my husband and what he was going through. … Without her assistance, we wouldn't have known in two days that my husband's concerns were benign."
Thank you, Connie, for bringing to life the TriHealth mission of improving the health status of the people we serve.
