TriHealth Bridge

February 13, 2015

The 2015 Non-Management Performance Appraisal merit increases are scheduled to be processed effective Sunday, Feb. 22, payable on Thursday, March 12.  With the recent implementation of Infor, the new HR/Payroll Information System, there are a few changes this year regarding notifications and viewing of new pay rates.

Viewing New Pay Rates and Lump Sum Notifications
Beginning this year, team members will now be able to view their new rates directly in Infor. As such, HR will no longer send an individual notification for team members. On Monday, March 2, team members can access their new rate of pay by logging into Team Member Self Service in Infor. Infor can be accessed by:

  1. Going to HRCentral
  2. Using assigned network usernames and passwords to log in
  3. Clicking on the Team Member Self Service icon at the top of the screen
  4. Clicking on My Profile to view their new pay rate

Managers will be notified directly of any staff who will be receiving an at-max lump sum payment. An email will be sent to appropriate management with the lump sum amount each team member is scheduled to receive. While this information will be available for team members on the Pay Stub, managers should share this information with impacted team members ahead of time.   This will allow team members time to notify MetLife with the amount should they wish to roll it directly into their retirement account. HR will also send the 2015 salary range structure to managers so team member questions can be addressed appropriately.

2015 Merit Increase Budget
The merit increase budget across the TriHealth organization is 2.5%, which means directors administer merit increases to achieve an average of 2.5%. The 2.5% budget is the same for all levels, executive, management and non-management.

We occasionally receive questions how this compares to the market. Currently, the average merit pool budget in the healthcare community locally is 2.2% and in the Midwest region at 2.2% (vs. 2.5% at TriHealth).
