There's still time to register for an upcoming medical-surgical nursing certification review course, offered by TriHealth and the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, Southwest Ohio Chapter No. 319.

Participants will receive information necessary for the medical-surgical certification exam. For nurses not taking the exam, the course provides a useful review of body systems and nursing interventions, along with objective and subjective data gathering methods.

The program is scheduled for Oct. 9, 16 and 23 at the Muntz Auditorium, University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College, 9555 Plainfield Road.

The course fee is $125 for the full three days, or $50 per single-day session. Registration is required; no refunds will be given for cancelations a week prior to the program date.

Nurses earn 18 continuing education hours for the full three-day program, or 5.75 for the first day, 5.5 for the second day and 6.75 for the third day.
