Applications are available for the Mary Ann McGrath Nursing Education Endowment Fund, named for a former Good Samaritan Hospital nurse. Money is awarded through the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation from this Fund twice each year to GSH nurses to advance or enhance nursing knowledge, by helping to pay for a seminar, college textbooks, tuition, or other educational experience.
Plans for use of the funds must be specified and itemized on the application. Applicants’ answers to two brief essay questions are considered when awarding funds. The funds awarded in December must be used between December 11, 2016 and June 10, 2017. Applications are due by Friday, October 14, 2016.
