TriHealth is truly blessed to have a dedicated team of nearly 1,300 volunteers who partner with our team members and physicians to serve our patients in so many ways across our hospitals, practices and throughout our community. And so, as we celebrate National Volunteer Week this week, I want to take this opportunity to thank and recognize our volunteers for playing a vital role in helping us deliver exceptional patient care to those we are privileged to serve each and every day, always! We simply could not carry out our sacred mission of improving the health of our community without them!
Collectively our volunteers offer tens of thousands of hours of caring support each year whether greeting and guiding patients and families through our hospitals or extending a warm, smiling face to help answer questions and ease anxieties along the way; and, our volunteers play an integral role in TriHealth's ongoing transformational work of "getting health care right"!
So this week - and every day of the year - when you see a volunteer around TriHealth, join me in thanking them for their selfless giving of time, talents and energy in support of our mission to improve the health of the community we serve!
Spring Open Enrollment Updates
We are excited to be kicking off Open Enrollment season in just a few weeks. Spring Open Enrollment will take place Monday, April 29 - Friday, May 10, 2019. It's very important to note that if you do not sign-up for benefits during this timeframe, you will not have insurance coverage beginning July 1, 2019. Voalte Expands to Two More Locations
Voalte technologies, our new clinical communications platform, is scheduled to be implemented tomorrow, April 9, at Good Samaritan Hospital and Good Samaritan Western Ridge. On-site technical support team members will be available. Visit LinkNet for more details.

Message for Huddles: Communicating Clearly
Communicating Clearly is a Safety & Reliability Practice and one of the tools we can use to better communicate is to Ask a Clarifying Question. Asking clarifying questions can reduce the risk of making an error by 2½ times! Use the codeword or safety phrase: "Let me ask a Clarifying Question..." It is important to ask questions in all high-risk situations, when information is incomplete/unclear or when you are unsure.
