TriHealth and five other leading health systems have formed an innovative, community-based health provider network, called the Midwest Health Collaborative (MHC). Its mission is single-minded: to improve the value of health care delivered throughout Ohio, while keeping care local and independent.
MHC includes TriHealth, Aultman, Cleveland Clinic, OhioHealth, Premier Health and ProMedica - 40 hospitals, hundreds of care sites and more than 100,000 team members - comprising an unprecedented statewide collaboration of hospitals, health systems and physician groups.
We are working arm-in-arm to develop more efficient and effective approaches for providing health care to large patient populations - not just responding to people seeking care. Big data, precise analytics and network quality are essential components in this quest.
How MHC Will Help Employers
Tackling employers' priorities - higher quality, increased access and better coordinated, more affordable care - is our focus. Talented clinicians across MHC already are exchanging best practices to develop creative solutions. Actively pooling data will provide insights to enhance our quality processes and measures, improve the patient experience and unlock cost savings. To deliver greater value for employers, we also are developing new ways to:
- Analyze plan benefit designs to create innovative payment models
- Share our knowledge of team member health programs and best-in-class wellness initiatives
- Use predictive analytics to make personalized care decisions
Addressing Communities' Critical Health Needs
MHC members will dig deep into the most prevalent health issues in the communities we serve. We are just beginning this exciting journey. Join us as we chart the course.
