Hi Team –
As we work together to evolve TriHealth into a more integrated and efficient care system, senior leadership is continually exploring new opportunities for strategic growth. This special mid-month update is to keep you informed on two of those opportunities, which are completely separate projects that may receive local news coverage in the coming days and weeks:
- Plans underway for new TriHealth Ambulatory Center in Liberty Township. As we shared back in February, the Board approved acquisition of 33 acres of property for development of a new TriHealth ambulatory center in Liberty Township (see the map below for property location). This project will allow for, among other things, consolidation of existing TriHealth physicians and outpatient services into a large, single destination campus. We’re excited to share with you that TriHealth Liberty will soon become a reality! The exact project scope and timeline are still being developed, so stay tuned for more details as they emerge throughout the year.
- TriHealth system headquarters and Oak Street offices may be moving … in 2-3 years. The Business Courier will likely report in its print edition this week that TriHealth is searching for new headquarters. This really isn’t news, as we’ve known for quite some time we would eventually need to find a permanent home for our Oak Street headquarter offices because the building is owned by Cincinnati Children’s. However, at this time, we are only in the very early planning stages of the relocation, with no decisions or details to share yet. While we’ll move someday, in the immediate future, we’ll continue our partnership with Children’s, and we’ll stay at Oak Street until we select the best new location and finalize plans to move. We’ll be sure to keep you well informed in the coming months as we move through the planning and decision process.
Thank you for taking a few moments to catch up on these important updates, and enjoy the rest of your week as we celebrate National Hospital and Nurses Week!
