“Being recognized for the Florence Nightingale Award is a great honor. I would like to thank my manager and leader, Donita Ross, RN, for taking the time to nominate me. My goal in providing nursing care is always to deliver the same level of care to my patients as I would want for my own family and to care for them in a holistic manner.

I am blessed to have a career that I love and that I believe was meant for me. I am also very fortunate to have had wonderful mentors like Amy Kimble, RN, BSN, CON, to inspire my growth as a nurse. I enjoy the challenges that nursing provides as well as the reward of playing a pivotal role in the healing of our patients.”
