Attend the next Surgical Grand Rounds when David W. Larson MD, MBA, FACS, FASCRS, chair of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery and a professor of surgery at the Mayo Clinic, presents "Practice Design and Recovery."
The event will begin at 7 a.m. Friday, May 30, at Good Samaritan in the Medical Education Conference Center, Cranley Room, Level 3-Q. The presentation also will be telecast to Bethesda North in the Library Conference Room.
At the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:
- Identify the importance of standardization and what it does for outcomes in health care.
- Discuss the various aspects of Enhanced Recovery Pathway (ERP) and its impact.
- Indicate the critical aspect of redesigning practice.
- Describe the tools, process and structure needed to redesign practice.
