Kathleen Hausfeld, PSS scheduler at Good Samaritan, has been named the Good Samaritan Firestarters' No. 1 Team Member of the Month for June.

According to Shannon Penny RN of PSS who submitted Kathleen's nomination, Kathleen consistently goes the extra mile for her patients:

"She tries to correlate appointments so (patients) only have to make one trip.  In one instance she had a patient come in for her PSS visit, then she personally took the patient up to PSS, then over to her GHA appointment and back to the lobby to meet her ride. This patient was very appreciative and hugged Kathleen before she left. Kathleen always has a smile on her face, she helps make this a great department to work in. She demonstrates extraordinary customer service. Her positive attitude is contagious."
