John Ward, director of I.T. Ambulatory Systems, will serve as the interim chief information officer, effective Dec. 8, following Rick Moore's retirement Dec. 5.

"I want to thank John for his willingness to take on this role," said Will Groneman, executive vice president of system development. "We have a strong I.T. management team to support our operations, and I am sure that he and Rick will provide us with a smooth transition during this interim period."

KornFerry, a national search organization, will handle the search for Rick's replacement. All interested qualified individuals are welcome to apply. It is expected that the new CIO will be in place by the end of the first quarter of next year.
