Guarnaschelli-Jess-150xJess N. Guarnaschelli MD has joined the TriHealth Cancer Institute as its first female radiation oncologist.

Dr. Guarnaschelli sees patients at Bethesda North and Good Samaritan, treating diseases including cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, vaginal cancer, brain tumors, breast tumors and vulvar carcinoma.

She has clinical experience in high-dose rate brachytherapy (HDR), low-dose rate brachytherapy (LDR), sterotactic radiosurgery, intraoperative radiation therapy, and intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT).  

Dr. Guarnaschelli's research has been published in the Journal of Palliative Medicine and the Journal of Neuro-Oncology. In 2012, she was named to the Cincinnati Business Courier's list of "Forty Under 40" award winners, recognizing the city's next generation of young leaders and innovators.

Dr. Guarnaschelli received her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She completed a general surgery internship at Indiana University and a radiation oncology residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Guarnaschelli is board certified through the American Board of Radiology.
