Jennifer Pierce has been appointed manager of ambulatory care coordination. She will begin in her new position Nov. 9.
Jennifer has been with TriHealth for 24 years and brings with her a wide variety of experience. Most recently, Jennifer served as an inpatient care manager at Bethesda North where she collaborated with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care for patients; she also served as the department designated preceptor.
Her experience within the specialty of Care Management began at Good Samaritan in 1990, where she was instrumental in the development of the department as the first departmental supervisor.
Jennifer obtained her BSN from Miami University and also holds a certification from the National Board for Case Management as an Accredited Case Manager.
As manager of ambulatory care coordination, Jennifer is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating all activities for TPEC RN Care Coordination as well as Care Coordination for the TriHealth Physician Hospital Organization. Additionally, she is integral in:
- Prioritizing care coordination initiatives
- Collaborating to achieve CPCi milestones
