Jennifer McCord MSN, RN, PCCN, CCRN, CCNS, VA-BC was elected Secretary of the Association for Vascular Access for the 2015-16 year.

Jennifer, a clinical nurse specialist at TriHealth, recently completed two years as director at large and design team board liason, which designs and oversees the AVA's annual scientific meeting.

The AVA works to promote the emerging vascular access specialty. The association's membership advances research, provides professional and public education to shape practice and patient outcomes, and partners with the device manufacturing community to bring about evidence-based innovations in vascular access.
