February 27, 2015
TriHealth values your contribution to the success of our company and we want to help you reach your retirement goals. That is why we provide an employer match to your 401(k) Plan. The TriHealth 401(k) Plan employer match is scheduled to be deposited on Friday, Feb. 27, to the accounts of team members who meet the match eligibility requirements and who contributed to the 401(k) Plan during 2014. If you contributed to a TriHealth 401(k) Plan in 2014 and qualify for the match, you are another step closer to reaching your retirement goal. Congratulations!
If you have not been contributing to the 401(k) Plan, it's never too late to start. Participating in the TriHealth 401(k) Plan has many advantages:
Convenience - Your contribution is automatically deducted each pay period, making it a convenient way to set aside money for retirement.
Tax advantages -Your contributions can be made on a pre-tax or after-tax (Roth) and any gains your investment achieves are tax-advantaged. This can lead to a significant accumulation of retirement funds.
Employer match - Starting in 2015, the TriHealth 401(k) Plan now provides a bi-weekly match to reward you for saving and to help you reach your goals.
Access to your money - Your 401(k) account will perform better if kept invested; however, if you need to access your money for emergencies, you may be able to take a loan and pay yourself back with interest.
Professional money management - MetLife, TriHealth's 401(k) service provider, offers daily performance reporting and transactions via their website. They also provide on-site financial service representatives to assist you. With a variety of investment choices, including target date funds, you can decide what makes the most sense for you.
Quarterly statements - MetLife also provides easy-to-read quarterly statements and education materials to help you track to your retirement goals.
Like any savings plan, the sooner you start contributing to your 401(k) the better off you'll be. So if you're not already contributing, consider consulting with one of the on-site MetLife representatives or contact the MetLife Customer Service Center for retirement planning assistance when you need it. You can find information about these resources on HRCentral.
