TriHealth's IRIS - Incident Reporting Information System - will go live July 1. Recommended training on the system begins next week.
IRIS, new web-based software, will allow associates, physicians and leaders to enter and manage information for both incidents and feedback. Incidents are unexpected events or near misses (also known as safety events). Feedback is a compliment or complaint reported by our customers or patients.
IRIS training classes will be offered the week of June 23. Training - required to adequately utilize the benefits of the new system - is highly recommended for managers or designees from each department or TriHealth location who are responsible for reviewing or investigating matters related to incidents or feedback.
Formal education for users who will be submitting only incidents or feedback into IRIS is not necessary. Simple Quick Reference guides will be available to explain steps in the submission process for these team members.
To register for training, log into TriHealth Learn and search for "Incident Reporting Information System (IRIS) Reviewer Training."
