TriHealth has formed the TriHealth Surgical Institute, focused on specialized, patient-centered surgical care. Physicians in the Surgical Institute integrate the patient's entire surgical experience, from the physician practice to the hospital to full recovery.
TriHealth now employs the majority of physicians of the former Queen City Surgical Consultants group in Cincinnati including: Lawrence A. Bartish, MD; Robert G. Bradley, MD; Stuart L. Donovan, MD; Bryan J. Ellis, DO; David D. Kirkpatrick III, M.D.; Thomas Maynard, MD; and Alexander K. Saba, MD. Queen City's Brian A. Kuhn, MD; Patrick Muck, MD; and Matthew Recht, MD now join 28 other heart specialists as part of the TriHealth Heart Institute.
"The relationship between our physicians and TriHealth has grown close in the past several years," said Stuart L. Donovan, MD. "We are excited to be part of the TriHealth network."
TriHealth has also purchased General and Vascular Surgeons of Butler County. The practice's four general surgeons join the Surgical Institute and its vascular surgeon joins the TriHealth Heart Institute.
Physicians joining the Surgical Institute from the General and Vascular Surgeons of Butler County practice include: Tarun K. Goel, MD; Douglas C. Hingsbergen, MD; H.S. Ramadas, MD and Karen L. Summe, MD. Vascular surgeon E. John Zayyat, MD, joins the Heart Institute. Also joining the Heart Institute is Richard Glaser, MD, a cardiothoracic surgeon from Queen City Cardiothoracic Surgery in Montgomery.
These physicians will continue to see patients in their existing offices throughout Cincinnati and Butler County, with one exception. Queen City Surgical Consultants have moved their Anderson office to 1060 Nimitzview Drive, Suite 210 and can be reached at 513 232 8181.
"The TriHealth Surgical Institute manages the entire surgical experience for our patients," said Jerry Oliphant, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for TriHealth. "In addition, the surgeons joining our team are widely regarded for their excellent quality and are among the leading surgeons in both Hamilton and Butler County."
These latest acquisitions further advance TriHealth's strategy to develop specialty institutes to enhance its outstanding clinical quality and high patient satisfaction through easy-to-use, closely coordinated care. TriHealth institutes offer comprehensive medical services associated with treatment of a disease or condition, as well as a dedicated team expert in its treatment.
