Hospice-Renew-Family-Cafe-425xHospice of Cincinnati has started a $3.5 million renovation of the Blue Ash Inpatient Care Center to upgrade patient rooms, family space and more.

Construction is expected to be completed by mid-October. Until then, patient admissions at the location have been suspended to ensure the best end-of-life experience and environment for patients and their families.

Three other inpatient centers - Western Hills, Anderson and Hamilton - are accepting patient referrals. Hospice of Cincinnati also will utilize Bethesda North 2300 and 5300 for the most acute patients.

To refer patients to Hospice of Cincinnati, call 513 891 7700. The organization will place the patient in the care setting that best meets his or her needs.

  • A family café will be added with expanded options for differing tastes and more space for sharing meals and relaxing.
  • Flat screen TVs and updated technology, including personalized music options for patients, will bring the space into the 21st century.
