Group Health, part of TriHealth Physician Partners, has been recognized as a national leader in rheumatoid arthritis management and has been given a $10,000 grant to support those efforts.

The recognition, provided by the American Medical Group Foundation, which looks to further best practices in RA management, chose only 16 medical groups nationwide to receive funding for patient care quality improvements through participation in the Managing Patients with RA Learning Collaborative.

The collaborative helps medical groups work together to facilitate discovery, adoption and dissemination of care processes that will improve the way patients with RA experience the health care system. The group is intended to leverage key learnings and allow for a how-to approach.

Group Health was the only Ohio medical group selected to join the collaborative.
