The Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science has successfully completed an accreditation review by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

This specialized nursing review was for the  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program with a recommendation for Initial Accreditation for five years, the maximum allowed.

There are two additional steps to the process that will end in August, but this accreditation is a significant hurdle, and not often achieved in the first review.

The accreditation took a concerted effort by everyone in the college, but special recognition goes to Dr. Teresa Getha-Eby, Department Chair for the BSN program and the BSN faculty.

Good Samaritan College will recognize the first six graduates of the BSN program at commencement on May 8 at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral.
